Over the weekend, my sister and I attended Sugar Land's Wine and Food Affair and had a blast. The weather was perfect! Not a cloud in the sky. My sister and I joked that even if it rained, she and I would be there with ponchos on. There were so many food, wine, and spirit vendors that we missed because time flies when you're having fun (and tasting). Icing on the cake was seeing a picture of my sister in Houston Press slideshow of the event, in my dress!! This project was bumped up in order of blog postings because she made the news! This pink spring dress paired perfectly with the vintage sky blue truck behind her.
How this all came about was when I showed my sister a tunic I finished for myself that included a few design edits. She immediately asked for the same item as a dress that you see here on today's post and in Houston Press!!!
